From 13 December 2012, Japanese artist Mariko Mori's first major exhibition is presented by the Royal Academy of Arts, at Burlington Gardens. The exhibition entitled Rebirth celebrates the life-cycle of a star and includes some of Mori's most acclaimed works from the past 11 years. The Guardian newspaper described the exhibition as 'Extraordinary'. Barrisol’s official London dealers PJC, Soltech Systems, Colourspec Interiors and Priory Design Solutions were selected as part of the specialised team to help create Mori's work, 'White Hole', using Blanc Wight Barrisol sheets.
I wanted to use a Barrisol material because it is very flexible and has unlimited uses in creating space... I'm thinking even of creating a sculpture with it. - Mariko Mori
